We work with several producers who provide us the opportunity to care for and grow their animals if their animals meet our protocol. We take that responsibility very seriously. Animals can simply be back-grounded for a specific amount of time, developed as replacement heifers, or taken all the way throughout finish and marketed as grass-fed livestock. We’ve even considered a forage-based bull test. We provide individual animal performance records and other services as requested. Fees are based on gains and services.

Pasture and Grazing Management Tools

Grassworks Weed Wiper
We use the GrassWorks Weed Wiper as a pasture management tool for weeds that the animals do not graze. The animals are allowed to graze under a high stock density. Whatever is left is considered undesirable or too mature so we wipe with the GrassWorks Weed Wiper. Since it contacts only the weed, clovers are maintained. Clovers are essential to our grazing program to help decrease fertilizer needs and extend the grazing season. See www.weedproblems.com for more details.
